Distilla

This document explains how Distilla ("we", "the app") handles information when you use it. The short version, in plain English:

Distilla is built to be private by default. Your photos and videos never leave your device. We don't have a server. We don't have user accounts. We don't use analytics or advertising SDKs. We don't share, sell, or transmit your data to anyone.

Information we access

Information we collect

None. We have no servers, no analytics, and no telemetry. The app does not transmit your photos, videos, decisions, or any usage data to us or to any third party.

What's stored on your device

All of this stays on your phone, and is removed if you uninstall the app.

Photo deletion

When you confirm releasing photos, Distilla uses iOS's standard photo deletion. iOS itself shows you a confirmation prompt, and the photos go to your Recently Deleted album, where you can recover them for 30 days before they are permanently removed.

Permissions

No other permissions are requested.

Children

Distilla is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Third-party services

Distilla uses no third-party SDKs, no analytics, and no advertising networks. It relies only on your iPhone's built-in tools.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we'll update the effective date and post the new version at distilla.app/privacy.
